ACTIVITY: Based on the story stated below, how will you define globalization? State how globalization
was shown in the story. Write it in a form of essay.

1. How have you experienced globalization?

2. What is the difference of globalization and globalism?

ACTIVITY:

Based on the story, globalization is defined on how sharing the culture of Gio and Latif with each
other. And also discovering that Latif was a big fan of Filipino actors Jericho Rosales and Kristine
Hermosa. Gio was pleasantly surprised to learn that Latif had seen every episode of the ABS CBN
telenovela Pangako Sayo. The next day, Gio was surprised to diacover that Malaysian Food was readily
available in Sydry. Gio finally had his first taste of laksa- a rice noodle soup on spicy coconut curry soup.
He found the flavors intense since, like most Filipinos, he was not used to spicy. Gio and Latif are both
sharing informations in the country they from.

ASSIGNMENT:

1..How have you experienced globalization?

- yes, because when time change, the world was changing too, transforming every minute because
of new technologies in our country. Our belief, culture, way of studying, communicating and economy
was very different compare before. As of now, we watching Koreanovela, cooking and copying other
countries recipe and many more that from others.
2. What is the difference between globalization and globalism?

- Globalization is the act or process of globalizing the state of being globalized while globalism is a
national policy of treating the whole world as a proper sphere for political influence.
