Turns-ratio test results should not deviate more than 0.5% from either the adjacent coils or the calculated ratio
Remarks: Satisfactory
Temperature-corrected winding-resistance values should compare within one percent of previously obtained results.
Remarks: Satisfactory
Test results are dependent on the temperature of insulating material and the humidity of the surrounding environment at the
time of the test. Insulation-resistance test data may be used to establish a trending pattern. Deviation from the baseline
information permit evaluation of the insulation.
Remarks: Satisfactory
IEEE C57. 106-1991 Suggested Limits for Continued Use of Service-Aged Insulation Oil specified that the Dielectric
Breakdown Voltage (ASTM Method D877) should not be less than 26 kV.
Remarks: Satisfactory
All electrical tests conducted on the transformer have satisfactory results. Retest in one (1) year.

IEEE C57. 106-1991 Suggested Limits for Continued Use of Service-Aged Insulation Oil specified that the Dielectric
Breakdown Voltage (ASTM Method D877) should not be less than 26 kV.
Remarks: Investigative
Insulation Resistance test result shows that the unit is investigative due its polarization index (PI) at the secondary
winding, with a value of 0.97, being less than 1.0 which is the standard set as per ANSI/NETA ATS 2017.
Oil Dielectric Breakdown Voltage test have investigative results as the average result with a value of 22.4 kV is
below the minimum standard as per IEEE C57.106-1991 Suggested Limits for Continued Use of Service-Aged
Insulation Oil which is 26 kV.
All other electrical tests have satisfactory results.
Due to the investigative test results, the unit is therefore recommended for reconditioning and oil replacement.
