X. Rationale of the Project (brief description of the situation)

Personal Hygiene is integral part of our everyday life. It includes brushing your
teeth, taking a bath, wearing clean clothes, and washing your hands necessary.
Practicing proper hygiene is essential to have a healthy life. It is essential especially
for young generations. Most family practices proper personal hygiene while others
are not. The residents of Sitio San Jose in Coliat, Ibaan, Batangas have little
knowledge about proper personal hygiene. They look clean and healthy but that does
not mean that they practices proper personal hygiene. In this community, it consists
of families with young children who are immune to germs. Their place is isolated and
is very far from the town. Children in this community go to school but they have little
knowledge about proper personal hygiene because it is not always taught at school.
Although they attend school, they don’t have enough knowledge about proper
personal hygiene. With this matter, we conducted a proposal on educating them on
practicing how to have proper personal hygiene. The said project will be implemented
every month starting in January and will end in May 2019. The activities to be done
in the project includes teaching how to properly wash hands, brushing teeth, taking a
bath and wearing clean clothes at all times. The appropriate materials to be used in
the activities will be provided by the project leader and coordinator as well as the
cooperating agencies and partners.
The project will officially end at the end of May 2019. By the end of this project,
the beneficiaries are expected to learn and acquire knowledge about proper personal
hygiene.

XI. Objectives (General and Specific):

Project BWB: Oplan Brush, Wash, and Bath aims to bring knowledge to the
beneficiaries about the proper personal hygiene.

Specifically, this project aims to:

 To maintain the healthiness of the people in the community.
