TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

We would like to inform you that permission is hereby granted to our son/daughter,
GREGORY LOI P. ROMANO to participate in the On-The-Job Training program which is a
requirement of the course , that will cover 80 hours and will be conducted in MDMB, located in
SAN NICOLAS NABUA, CAM SUR. this School Semester, 2018 – 2020.

We are aware that the immediate superior within the company will take all necessary
precautions to keep the students safe. Training supervisors/ Work Immersion Teacher will also
be there to periodically monitor the performance and safety of the students.

However, if despite all the efforts taken, any untoward incidents beyond their control
occur, we will not hold Nabua National High School as well as the company where our
son/daughter took the Work Immersion liable.

problems I faced during the training of my immersion at MDMB computer shop.

Work Immersion or on-the-job training is one of the course’s requirements for every
graduating student. A Grade 12 student has to undergo the said training not just to gain a grade
for his/her performance but also to train the student and measure their capacity if they are job
ready after graduation.

Work Immersion is one of the requirements for students to expose and become familiar
to the work environment related to their field of specialization to enhance their knowledge,
skills and competence. Specifically, the students are able to gain relevant and practical
industrial skills under the guidance of industry experts and workers; appreciate the importance
and application of the principles and theories taught in school; enhance their technical
knowledge and skills.

OBJECTIVES OF THE WORK IMMERSION

The work immersion partnership has the following objectives:


1. To supplement the formal curriculum of the SHS program with the special inputs from the
COMPANY experts and practitioner in order to align the SHS program with work standard.

2. To develop the student of SHS program to acknowledge and skills that are relevant to the
needs of the job market in the area.

3. To provide SHS student relevant learning experience by giving them exposure to the actual
workplace setting.

4. To form Work Immersion Partnership between SCHOOL and the COMPANY, allowing the
student faculty and staff of the school concerned

VALUES OF THE STUDENT IN WORK


IMMERSION

Value are qualities that should develop as principle underpinning behavior and decision-
making, whereas attitude support cognitive functioning .Both are personal qualities that
students should develop. In the process of learning and teaching, values and attitudes
mutually affect each other. By means of different of assessment, the effects of learning and
teaching can be review ant improved.

 To become familiar to the things done in a work place.


 For employment simulation.
 To apply their competence in areas of specialization/applied subjects in authentic
work environment.
 Appreciate the importance and application to the principle and the stories learned in
school.
 Enhance their skills and knowledge.
 Develop good work habits, attitude, appreciation and respect for workmates.

PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED
During my work immersion I encountered many problems like paper jamming, customer’s
paper loss, insufficient of ink and paper switching. Some problem we cannot fix we call for the
attention of our supervisor.

SUGGESTION AND RECOMMENDATION


I suggest that we can use the knowledge of student to fix some school’s property like fixing
broken electric fan and others.

I recommend the MDMB for the good and high quality in their service.
