Registration on FBA
1. What is the registration process?

3. What are the documents required for registering?

4. How long will it take for the process to complete?
If all the requirements are met, the process of onboarding to FBA
shouldn’t take more than 2 days.
5. How different is it from Merchant Fulfilled (MFN) Orders or Easy Ship
(ES) Orders?
The following facilities that are not available for MFN/ES sellers are
available for FBA sellers:
a. Storage of your products in Amazon’s fulfillment centers
b. Increased exposure for your products on Amazon.in
c. Picking and packing of your products when a customer orders
them

7. What is APOB?
If you are opting for Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) services, you have to
register Amazon Fulfilment Centre as your Additional Place of Business
(APOB) in your tax registrations. This is required because your goods are
stored in the Amazon fulfilment centers and are picked, packed and
delivered as per the orders placed by end customers across all cities in
India.
8. Do I need to register in all states for GST for APOB?
If you are selling/shipping products from multiple states, you will require a
separate GSTIN for each such state. Consequently, registering the respective
fulfilment center as an APOB becomes necessary.
9. Is FSSAI license required if I am selling food products/consumable items?
Yes, FSSAI license is required for if you are selling food items/consumable
products. FSSAI license should have Amazon fulfilment center as one of the
additional place of business since your goods will be stored in the Amazon
fulfilment center and are picked, packed and delivered as per the orders
placed by end customers across all cities in India.
Shipment Details
1. How do I decide on the products which needs to be shipped?
You can sell items in the following categories: Baby Products, Beauty, Books,
Consumer Electronics (including Cameras and Video Games - Consoles),
Digital Accessories (including Mobile Accessories, Electronics Accessories
and PC Accessories), Home, Jewellery, Kitchen, Luggage, Mobile Phones,
Movies, Personal Care Appliances, Personal Computers, Tablets, Toys, Video
games (consoles and games), and Watches. More categories can be viewed
here.
2. How much quantity can I send? Is there a minimum set of products I can
send?
FBA has no minimum number of items required to use it. However, there is
a variable inventory limit, which keeps changing basis your inventory health,
sales & space available at our Fulfillment Center. Check this help page for

Restocking
1. How do I get recommendations of products needed to be re-stocked?
The Restock Inventory tool is intended to provide the online sellers with
information that helps them manage their inventory levels at the
registered Amazon fulfilment centers following the forward-looking
demand. The tool is only a recommendation and not a substitute for your
own judgment about demand for your products. To access this tool,
navigate to the following path on Seller Central: Inventory > Inventory
Planning Dashboard > Restock Inventory
2. How does Amazon generate restock recommendations for products
listed on Amazon.in marketplace?
Inventory management recommendations and related estimates
(e.g. estimated days of supply) are based on a variety of factors:
a. Projected customer demand of the product.
b. Competitive offers and sales from other sellers.
c. Regional customer-demand distribution.
d. Current inventory levels (both in stock & in-transit inventory).
e. Inbound lead time for replenishment.
f. Replenishment-related information configured for the product (such
as, reorder frequency with supplier, number of units per carton,
minimum order quantity, lead time to procure from supplier). For
