Re: Request to Lower Compromise Penalty

MADAM:

This has reference to my new application for Authority to Print (ATP) Receipts and
Invoices for my profession nal services as a lawyer. My unused receipts had already
expired last September 2019 and I fully understand that there is a compromise penalty
in the amount of PhP10,000.00 for late application.

With this, I would like to respectfully request from your good office for a reduction of said
penalty in the amount of PhP5,000.00 as I was not able to accomplish the application in
due time because of heavy workloads and busy schedules as I was also employed as
regional lawyer of the Department of Health–Center for Health Development Bicol at
Legazpi City. The workload and the schedules caused me to inadvertently miss the
deadline of applying for a new authority.

For reference, I had attached in this letter my first issued ATP as well as my unused
receipts.
