Lesson 3: Effect of Innovative Finishing Materials and Creative Accessories on the


Marketability of Products

I. Objectives

At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:


A. Discuss the effects of innovative finishing materials and creative accessories on the
marketability of finished products.
B. Demonstrate how to do sketching, outlining, and shading before decorating finished
products.
C. Identify the materials that can use to innovate the products.

II. Subject Matter

Topic: Effect of Innovative Finishing Materials and Creative Accessories on the Marketability of
Products

Materials: PowerPoint presentation, Tools for sketching, shading, and outlining.

III. Procedure

A. Review

· Ask my students what is the difference between previous lesson how to conductt simple
survey using technology and other data-gathering method and and how is the effect of
innovative finishing materials and creative accessories on the marketability of products.

B. Motivation

Prepare a video, song and games that connected to the lessons and can relate my students.

C. Activity

Identify the sources of the following finishing materials: Choose your answer in the box.

E. Application

· In group, visit a handicraft or furniture shop. Observe their style in enhancing their
products to make them more attractive and unique. Make a written report of your
observation and report it to class.

IV. Assessment
· In a piece of bond paper, enhance a finished product using sketching, outlining and
shading.
