Media Advisory For Commission of Inquiry Into State Capture Continues On 09 October 2020

The hearings of the Judicial Commission of Inquiry into Allegations of State Capture, Corruption and Fraud in
the Public Sector including Organs of State will continue on 09 October 2020 at 09h00.
The Commission will hear an application that will be moved by the Commission's Legal Team for an order
authorising the Secretary of the Commission to issue a summons for the former President, Mr Jacob Zuma, at
09h00 on Friday, 09 October 2020. The Commission will also hear evidence of Former Acting Director
General: Department of Public Enterprises, Ms Matsietsi Mokholo and Former Eskom Board Chairperson, Mr
Zola Tsotsi.
In adherence to measures to limit the spread of COVID-19, strict social distancing protocols will be observed in
the media gallery and this will result in a very limited number of seats available for members of the media. To
ensure the safety of all hearing venue users, members of the media public are requested to follow all security
procedures as will be communicated by security and Commission officials.

regulations. Members of the media are encouraged to follow proceedings remotely.
