1. How much do you need to pay for a one day passport service?
For a one day passport service, I have to pay IDR 1.000.000 (one million rupiah)
2. What is the different between regular passport and electronic passport?
 Regular passport don’t have chip, but e-passport have biometric data that stored in
chip
 Applying visa is more easier with e-passport than regular passport
 Time of making a regular passport is 7 days, but e-passport need 14 days
 The cost of making an electronic passport is IDR 650.000, but the cost of making
regular passport is IDR 350.000
 E-passport owner from Jakarta and Bali not waiting at the immigration
checkpoint, but go directly to auto gate to scan e-passports before entering the
boarding gate
3. What documents do you need to prepare to apply for a passport?
When apply for a passport, I need to take a document such as:
 Identity card or certificate of moving abroad
 Family card
 A birth certificate, certificate of marriage, a diploma (education certificate) or
baptismal certificate (the document must include your name, place and date of
birth, the name of your parent. If in that document not listed, the applicant can
must attach a statement from the authorities)
 Indonesian citizenship certificate for foreigners who obtained Indonesian
citizenship through or submission to choose citizenship according to regulations;
 Certificate of name change from the authorized for those who have changed the
name.
