INTRODUCTION

Information technology (IT) is the use of any computers, storage, networking and
other physical devices, infrastructure and processes to create, process, store, secure
and exchange all forms of electronic data.
Today, information technology (IT) is everywhere. It has changed the way we get
things done today. It not only helps us in our daily lives but also in many other
sectors. Businesses, Medical Science, School and many others have been using it.
Since we live in the information age, information technology has become a part of
our everyday lives. That means the term "IT," already highly overused, is here to
stay.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN MEDICAL SCIENCE

Today, information technology is used in wide range of fields and one of the
upcoming field is Medical Science, which is known as Health Information
Technology.
Health Information Technology is the application of information processing
involving both computer hardware and software that deals with the storage,
retrieval, sharing, and use of health care information, data, and knowledge for
communication and decision making.
While some people think IT has helped Medical Science, others think the human
brain is way more useful in the field. IT is helping us store the information on a
computer but the human is the one storing and collecting it. A human is the one
operating on the person not the computer.

CONCLUSION

While both can adapt and learn, it is much easier for the human brain to learn new
things. Human brain are also about 100,000 times more energy efficient than
computers but that will change as technology advances.
In my opinion, no matter how much computers advances, a human brain is always
required to used it. Without human brains there wouldn't be a computer to use. In
medical science, a human is the one first understanding the data collected through
technology then being stored in the computer.
