The reality of anger
 The food of the anger is “revenge”.

 The rush of the blood to the body


which smokes the intellect.

 Anger is based on love and hate.

anger
 Why does a person get angry?

 Most of the anger is due to things


which are not beneficial and basic
need.

 “Anger is subservient to Love”.


More you love, more will be your
anger.

Cure of Anger
 The cure of every evil quality is:
removing its essence from the heart and
blocking its means („Ilm and Amal).

 Fixing the Tawhid.

 Restricting the causes.

 Not leaving any empty place in the heart


for the anger.

Arrogance.

Forbearance

 Forbearance (Hilm) is greater than


Intellect (Aql) because Allah
named himself by it.

Abu Dhamdham

 The Prophet (saaw) said: “Are you


not able to be like Abu
Dhamdham? They asked: Who is
Abu Dhamdham? The Prophet
(saaw) said: He was a man before
you. He used to say every
morning: O Allah, I have given my
honour today in charity”.

Muhammad ibn Ka’b
 “If three qualities are present in a
person, he has perfected his „Iman:

 When he is satisfied, it does not take


him to falsehood.
 When he is angry, it does not take
him away from truth.
 When he is capable, he does not take
what is not his”.
