Is Math Invented or Discovered?

People live on this earth surrounded by many anonymity. In order to answer a lot
of queries about the world, we tend to seek solutions for it and math is the best
solution. Some may say that math is just all made up equations but that made up
equation could be the explanation as to how we see things as it is. These mathematical
equations came from man’s mind so is it being invented? But, these equations could be
the explanation to everything even to the most natural phenomena on this earth, so is
math just merely discovered?

To start with, fibonacci numbers appear a lot in botany especially in flower petals.
Also how astonishing as to Pi can relate to almost everything that we have around us
such as the apple that we eat and the rainbows that rarely comes up. Max Tegmark
see the physical world as similar to a computer game. Math efficiently works in
describing the reality just as how math can explain the happenings in a computer
game. It doesn’t just describe the reality but it has its deep roots in the history. In the
time of Pythagoras, math was related to music. Ancient Greeks found relationships
between notes that later on Pythagoras discovered that these beautiful musical
relationships are also beautiful mathematical relationships through measuring the
lengths of the vibrating strings.
To many mathematicians, it is though math is discovered but they may be mistaken
and that math is a product of the human brain. An 11 year old kid with an exceptionally
great intelligence has been tested by experts. As to the result, it is seen that kids like
him have six times more neuron activation compared to average ones. The question is
if it is because of thorough practice or maybe it’s already bulit in our brains. In addition
to the query, another university came to study lemurs which they believe are close to
humans. Through experimentation, they observed that these animals can easily
recognize numbers, specifically quantity. In the end it was concluded that even without
mathematical education still we have in all of us the primitive number sense.
Still, a number of contradictions are given such that math is very effective in our

Many physicist see how mathematics can reveal the secrets of the world that it
seems to be part of nature. So, again, is really math invented or discovered? It is both.
We invented the concepts and discovers the relation between these concepts.
