FortiAnalyzer Installation

This document contains confidential information, which is provided for the sole purpose of permitting the
recipient to evaluate the proposal submitted herewith. In consideration of receipt of this document, the
recipient agrees to maintain such information in confidence and to not reproduce or otherwise disclose
this information to any person outside the group directly responsible for the evaluation of its contents,
except that there is no obligation to maintain the confidentiality of any information which was known to
the recipient prior to receipt of such information from Exclusive Networks Solution Engineer, or becomes
publicly known through no fault of recipient, or is received without obligation of confidentiality from a
third party owing no obligation of confidentiality to Exclusive Networks Solution Engineer

Description
Exclusive Networks Solution Engineer is onsite for several days, up to 8 hours each day, dedicated to
completing the specific configuration tasks defined in the section below entitled "Deliverables". Extra days
are available for an additional fee to facilitate installation of multiple pairs. No installation, configuration,
or product support tasks other than those specifically mentioned will be addressed within the scope of
this installation. Any issues or problems currently outstanding in other groups within Fortinet Networks
(such as open Support cases) will not be addressed within the scope of this installation.

Exclusive Networks Responsibilities

a. Review the SoW and any related documents, with End User Point of Contact.
b. Establish and maintain communications through End User Point of Contact
c. Review and administer the project change
d. Coordinate and manage the technical activities of Exclusive Networks Solution Engineer assigned
personnel

End User General Responsibilities

a. Make appropriate personnel available to assist Exclusive Networks Solution Engineer in the
performance of its responsibilities
b. Provide internet access to the Exclusive Networks Solution Engineer to download the necessary
software packages, if applicable
c. Ensure that current maintenance and license agreements are in place with applicable vendors for
those products and services upon which Exclusive Networks Solution Engineer is relying to fulfill
the completion of the project
d. Ensure your personnel assigned to this project are available for the duration of the planning &
installation session
e. Have all the following pre-requisite hardware/software installed and operational at your location
prior to the commencement of the installation and configuration activity
Deliverables
Exclusive Networks Solution Engineer will perform the following tasks to install and configure FortiAnalyzer:
FortiAnalyzer

1. Pre Kickoff & Planning

a. Define the project team roles and responsibilities
b. Review objectives, goals and critical success factors
c. Review completion criteria and critical dates
d. Review implementation plans and identify the tasks to be completed
e. Schedule the onsite planning session and installation activities
f. Discuss customer's firewall requirements
g. Define the detailed firewall installation activities
h. Identify the FortiAnalyzer software version upgrades and/or modification requirements, if
applicable
i. Review and agreed on UAT checklist provided by Exclusive Networks Solution Engineer
j. Define communication frequency and channel
k. Determine the sign-off person

2. Basic Setup
a. Rack mounting and installation of FortiAnalyzer
b. Creation for ADOM if needed
c. Console access/ serial terminal configuration
d. Admin Profiles (Super user admin, read only admin)
i. Username
ii. Password
e. HTTPS & SSH administrative access
f. FortiAnalyzer License update
g. FortiAnalyzer Firmware update
h. Support Account Device Registration

3. Nework Setup
a. Interface(s) configurations
b. Routing configurations
c. DNS Configurations

4. Basic Configuration
a. Fortinet Device Registration
b. Fortinet Device Authorized
c. Test Registerd Devices Connectifity
d. Checking Registerd Devices Status
e. Tuning of FortiAnalyzer as deemed necessary
f. Review of FortiAnalyzer with Administrator
g. Monitoring traffic and log

5. Others Configuration
a. Generate Sample base on Template Report
b. Creating Event Handler if needed
c. Configuring Email Notification if needed
d. Creating NOC/SOC dashboard widget if needed
e. Forwarding log to 3rd party devices if needed

6. User Acceptance Test

a. UAT against pre-defined checklist provided by Exclusive Networks Solution Engineer
b. UAT checklist is based on what has been configured in End User environment
c. Partner/End User is to signed off to mark the completion of installation job after UAT
7. Knowledge Transfer and Documents
a. Exclusive Networks Solution Engineer will provide a Installation documents and Knowledge
Transfer
• Limited to 3 person
• Limited to as-build configuration within 1 man-day during weekday office hour
• Limited to 1 installation document based on what has been installed and configured in
End User environment
• Not a basic training which start from scratch
• Informal training focusing on what has been configured in the End User environment
• Knowledge transfer can occur throughout the engagement or on the last day of the
engagement
• Enable End User to administer the systems and run the operation

8. Others
a. Monitoring Running Configuration for 1 week
b. Creation of Documentation Project
Conditions and Assumptions
Customer and Exclusive Networks Solution Engineer agree upon the following requirements and assumptions
regarding information, accesses and resources conditional to performing the work described above. Failure to provide
requested information timely may adversely impact Exclusive Networks Solution Engineer ability to fulfill one or more
stated deliverables.

1. All work will be performed onsite at a single physical location.

2. A default password will be used for all pre-configuration .

3. All Routing Tables and IP Addressing Scheme for this project, will be provided by End User.

4. Firewall port required for clients and server connectivity will be provided and allowed by End User

5. All cabling, convertor and power will be provided by End User.

6. Product will be both racked and cabled before Exclusive Networks Solution Engineer arrival.

7. One week prior to the arrival of the Exclusive Networks Solution Engineer, Customer will provide Exclusive
Networks Solution Engineer with a complete Pre-Install Checklist.

8. During the full course of the installation, Customer will provide Exclusive Networks Solution Engineer with
appropriate access, guidance and technical resources, including detailed information and hands-on
assistance as required for the successful progress of the installation.

Deployments with these complexities should instead be assessed and scoped as a billable engagement by Exclusive
Networks Solution Engineer. Contact your Fortinet Network sales representative to schedule a free initial consultation
to develop a Statement of Work.

Acceptance

A purchase order for the full amount of the estimated cost is required before your installation date is confirmed.
