Norms of Filipinos Example

Filipinos has a lot of unique norms, norms that are very different
from other countries. One of these is the “Mano po” it is very
known Filipino tradition in which people who are younger take the
hand of the elderly then put it in their forehead as a sign of
respect. For example: There is a occasion in a family, the
grandchildren are doing the “Mano po” in their grandparents. One
of the grandchildren didn’t do the “Mano po” and just passed by
his grandparents, a visitor noticed it and started talking about it
with the other visitors and saying that the parents of that kid didn’t
teach him a good moral or how to respect elderly.
