substances commonly abused by adolescents and the effects
of those substances on the adolescent. Include questions
related to suicide in the adolescent with a substance abuse
disorder.
2. Each student researches attention-deficit hyperactivity 2
disorder (ADHD). As a group, discuss the information each
student gathered regarding the diagnosis. Include in the
discussion characteristics and treatment. Give specific
examples of children you know who have been diagnosed
with ADHD and explain how they fit the characteristics of the
disorder.
