Dear Sir or Madame,

I am pleased to have the opportunity to write this letter on behalf of Kelly Tagnolli, a young woman I
have come to know over the past year. In 2019 Kelly enrolled as a junior in the Pre-Med Core, one of
several career technical education focus areas available for upperclassmen here at Windsor High
School. The purpose of the Pre-Med Core is to provide students who are interested in pursuing careers
in health care/public health with the knowledge and skills they will need in order to be competent and
competitive in both educational and work settings after high school. Kelly has been an excellent
addition to our program.

As Kelly’s social studies teacher I have had the opportunity to observe her abilities as a student, to
evaluate the work she produces in class and at home, and to gauge her character as an individual. I
have been impressed on all counts. Kelly is a dedicated and conscientious student; her class work
always shows determined effort and a commitment to learning, and she isn’t afraid to ask questions
when she needs clarification. She is a self-directed learner who excels when working on her own or as
part of a collaborative group. Kelly is also honest and polite and exhibits the type of genuine integrity
that we value so highly in our program; her character has served as a fine example for her peers.

Kelly’s long commitment to the Girl Scouts has taught her the value of service to others and her
involvement in athletics has taught her cooperation and leadership; she works well her peers and
adults, and communicates well with others. In addition to that, Kelly is a very genuine, kind and
friendly person who is a joy to be around. I believe Kelly will be successful whatever route she
chooses, and I look forward to learning about her accomplishments. I recommend her to you
enthusiastically and without reservation.
