NOTES
1. This application is for consideration for the duration of the Taste of Wicklow Town Festival only

2. The Market will take place in the Abbey Grounds – set up Saturday 29th June at a specific time or Sunday 30th
June from 7.30am to 11am – Market open to the public from 12pm to 7pm only on Sunday 30th June 2019
(PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL BE GIVING SLOTS FOR SET UP – NO VEHICHLES ARE ALLOWED ON THE GREEN
AND ALL SET UP HAS TO BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO 11AM, NO VEHICHLES WILL BE ALLOWED ONTO THE
PREMISES AFTER 11AM)

3. It is the responsibility of the market traders to remove all waste matter concerning their stall from the site
each day and to ensure that the stand is manned at all times. Wicklow Town & District Chamber or the Taste
of Wicklow Town Committee is not responsible for any damage or loss to any stall howsoever caused.

4. It is up to each stall holder to provide security for their own stall/s

5. The cost of the stall is €150 for the day – there is a 13A Twin socket provided for electricity. Additional
sockets will cost an additional €25 each.

6. Electricity Supply - The provision of any electrical fittings and appliances will be the responsibility of the
Exhibitor. All electric wiring and installation work on a Stand must be carried out by:

(i) Contractors who are members of Safe Electric (Register of Electrical Contractors of Ireland)

ii) Contractors specially approved by the Organiser.

Exhibitors are forbidden to open the Organiser's distribution boards or plug into the Organiser's outlet
sockets. A Completion Certificate (Electrics) must be made available by the Exhibitor to the Organiser on
request.

An electricity connection form must be completed by each Exhibitor and is available by contacting Wicklow
Chamber Office.

When the Stand is ready for connection to the electricity supply, it is the responsibility of the exhibitor to
inform the onsite electrician of this fact. All electrical appliances used on a Stand must comply with current
standards and all applicable legislation and codes. Any electrical item in the opinion of the Organiser
deemed to be causing fault with the power supply on a Stand or other stands at the Event will be
immediately disconnected.
7. It is up to each stall holder to bring their own stall/table/umbrella. Wicklow Town & District Chamber does
not provide any stall equipment. If you have any special requirements please let us know in advance.

8. It is mandatory to provide free samples on the day.

9. Each stall holder has to provide their own insurance where it indemnifies Wicklow Town & District Chamber.

10. Wicklow Town & District Chamber cannot offer exclusivity on the type of stalls offering on the day.

11. Payments can be done by Cheque (Payable to Wicklow & District Chamber Events), cash or online. Bank

* Please note that your place will not be confirmed until payment in full has been received or a €50 deposit has been
received. Full payment due by Tuesday 30th April 2019.
(Due to the high demand of this event and the increase of a waiting list, please note that if we have not received full payment by
the end of April, we cannot hold your place, and the slot will be given to the next stall provider)
