Welcome to School

We hope everyone had a fun and relaxing summer.

It is hard to believe but it is that time again- the beginning of a new school year.

We hope that this school year will be full of successful fun and experiences for your children. The next
few weeks will be very exciting as children are making new friends, learning new routines and discovering
their new environment.

Our teachers have a variety of exciting activities planned and most begin their circle time routine once the door is closed. We encourage you
to arrive on time so your child does not miss this very import part of their day. During the morning circle, your child will be given instructions
about the activities they will be doing throughout the day.

We know that dropping off for the first few days is difficult and the best way to help your child be successful is to prepare your child for their
day by explaining what to expect. Have a positive attitude - young children are aware of your feelings and your enthusiasm will reassure
them. When you arrive come in to the classroom, help your child with their morning routine, say your “good-byes”, tell them when you will
be returning and then leave. This helps children develop independence and the understanding that school is a fun and safe place.

Please know that we are all here to help make the first few days of school a happy transition from home to school and we look forward to
partnering with you this school year to make this a fun and exciting year for your children.

Friendly Reminders …
 Please make sure to use your full legal signature when signing in and out and use the exact time that you drop off and pick up.
 Photo Identification is required when picking up your children
 If you are running late for pick up please give your teacher a call and let them know, your children worry when you are not there to get
them on time.
 Our Early Childhood Education classrooms are NO Cell Phone Zones – if possible please refrain from using your cell phone when dropping
off or picking up your children.
