Learning situations and conditions have a great influence on the success of learning.
Based on the author's experience in the field, failure in learning on average is faced by a
number of students who do not have the drive to learn. For this reason, an activity
undertaken by the teacher and second grade students arouses student learning motivation,
for example by guiding students to be directly involved in activities involving students and
teachers who act as mentors to discover the concept of Islamic Religious Education.
In the learning process that involves materials, methods, media, teaching aids, and so
on, they must also experience changes in the direction of renewal (innovation). With the
aforementioned innovations, a teacher is required to be more Creative and Innovative,
especially in determining the right models and methods that will greatly determine student
success, especially the formation of life skills of students who stand on the surrounding
environment. For this reason, the Learning Model with the application of the direct
demonstration method by the teacher Kn encourages students to be more active, creative and
will be motivated to want to learn. So that in the end students can achieve the results of
increased interest/maximum.
Thus all the goals that have been prepared by the teacher in the learning plan will
be achieved and it is our common goal as teachers in the teaching and learning process. This
research was conducted at MI Tarbiyatul Athfal 2 Bangeran Dukun Gresik class VI semester
I. This strategy was used because it was based on the fact that the students of class VI MI
Tarbiyatul Athfal 2 Bangeran Dukun Gresik Prince still could not achieve the maximum
interest in learning in the prayer movement.
Thus all the goals that have been prepared by the teacher in the learning plan will be
achieved and it is our common goal as teachers in the teaching and learning process. This
research was conducted at MI Tarbiyatul Athfal 2 Bangeran Dukun Gresik class VI, while
the strategy used was a direct demonstration learning model.
METODE PENELITIAN
Peneliti bertindak sebagai pengajar dan teman sejawat sebagai pengamat. Penelitian
dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Pada siklus I diawali dengan refleksi awal lalu menyusun rencana
tindakan, menyusun alat pengumpul data, menyusun pengolahan data, membuat skenario
pembelajaran, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan dan diakhiri dengan refleksi. Siklus II
dimulai dengan perancangan tindakan, kemudian penyusunan alat pengumpul data,
penyusunan pengolah data, pembuatan skenario pembelajaran, pelaksanaan tindakan,
pengamatan, hingga akhirnya direfleksi dan pada siklus merupakan pengulangan siklus
sebelumnya yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan hasil yang lebih valid.
Hasil tes Evaluasi pada Siklus I dan Siklus II dengan model pembelajaran Group
Investigation, diperoleh hasil prestasi siswa yang meningkat, dengan ketuntasan belajar
sejumlah Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan terdapat kenaikan, yang tuntas belajar dari 18 siswa
( 69,23 %) pada Siklus I, menjadi 22 siswa (84,61%) pada siklus II, Jadi secara umum, hasil
evaluasi siswa mengalami peningkatan. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan
pembelajaran dengan menggunakan strategi demontrasi dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan
prestasi belajar siswa.
