Example of Autobiography

On the day after the Human Rights was celebrated on the 10th month of the Roman calendar in the
year of Ox, I was born in a country that was colonized by Spaniards for more than three hundred
years after it was discovered by a famous Portuguese explorer. My first name was named after a
nun and my second name was named after Christ - but don't think that I behave like them. lol.. My
dad and mom were a hard working couple who specializes tents out of tarpaulins and make babies
seven times in eighteen years having one twin babies on their first. I grew up downtown in a city
where my fave fruit Durian grows abundantly.

I played kindergarten and studied primary & secondary educations in a Chinese school well-known
for boycotting a shopping mall because of tearing down our school canteen. hahaha..

In elementary, my favorite day was every Friday. You can see all girls wearing this green uniform
would only sing and play in the classroom as a subject in school. Sometimes, we walk around the
campus in two straight lines and get to see boys wearing their brown uniform. ehe.. When I was
older, I was voted in-charged to monitor these activities for two younger level groups and was fairly
awarded at the end of the year.

When I stepped high school, it was the most exciting part of my life. Having crushes, love team ups,
courtship, prom night were the things that could really make you giggle. I can clearly remember my
very first kiss when I joined the Preparatory Military Training back in junior high. lol.. I joined this
training to be an officer for the next class resume and less expected that I'll be kissing someone that
even the gays in our school were crazy about. I still made it to the training though - I became one of
the first rank staffs with three gold plated round symbols awarded to me as my insignia.

I took up and finished a bachelor's degree in the study and teaching of the theoretical foundations of
information and computation in a respected university in my city.

My first job was a junior employee engaged in the development of network applications that run over
HTTP protocol. I worked in another city where the twelveth ASEAN Summit was conducted.

My second job was a staff dealing with analysis of sets of interacting entities. I worked in the
Geographical Information Systems Department of a light and power utility company in my home city.

My third job was writing, testing, debugging and maintaining detailed instructions that computers
must follow to perform their functions. I worked in a well-known american company that exports fresh
& packaged pineapples that was solely owned by Oprah's guest on her show last third of March.

And as for my present job, I am responsible for analyzing the business needs of clients to help
identify business problems and propose solutions. I am currently working in a BPO company that
was ranked top 20 in IAOP's Global Outsourcing 100 in the year 2008.

I may not be the cream of the crop in our class but I managed to pursue my dreams step by step
which brought me now in the country where it was ruled by a boy who ascended the throne when he
was just two years old and became an emperor in such a young age.

This is how my autobiography goes. I hope you enjoyed reading. Adios!

Tips on How to Write Your Autobiography
 Stick on Facts. Make sure that your autobiography contains facts about yourself.

 Talk of Events. Instead of describing yourself as gorgeously sexy, try telling your experience
on how you won a beauty pageant.

 Stay Humble. If you're an achiever, state it but don't exaggerate it.

 Think Bubbly. Keep your story lively by telling on how you funnily stumbled over your crush
so not to bore your readers.

 Be Creative. Keep your readers wanting for more.

 AN EXAMPLE OF A SHORT AUTOBIOGRAPHY

 I was born on a warm, sunny day in June (Date) in (Place of Birth), (Country). I still live in (Place
of Birth), (Country), and I go to school at Booker High School. I live with my mom, Kate; my
brother, Jake; and my Aunt Molly. When I was born, my bother was fifteen-months-old and hid
under the table from me. Jake is a sweet kid and he would do anything for me, but like all
brothers and sisters we fight like cats and dogs. Sometimes when no one was around, Jake
would come up to me and bite my toes for no reason. I still love him but only because he is my
brother.
 Who I am in life.
 My name is Sally Friday. I started school when I was six-years-old. I went to kindergarten through
fifth grade at Booker Elementary and while I was there, I won an award for perfect attendance. I
also won an award for honor roll all four terms. Then I attended Booker Middle School, and there I
also won a couple of awards: one for perfect attendance and two for being named Student of the
Year--one in sixth grade and the other in eighth grade. I am now a senior at Booker High School.
I plan on finishing school and maybe going to a community college.
 What life means to me.
 Life to me means friends and family who you can trust and who trusts you. I am pretty much on
the happy side of life, but like all teens I do I have my "days of." That means I do have some sad
days or depressed days. I have a few frinds here that sort of look out for me and when I am
having a bad day, I have someone here at school to talk to. I make my school days go by thinking
of either the next hour or what I will do when I get home or on the weekend. I'm not seeing
anyone now but when I did have a boyfriend, our favorite places to go were the movies and out to
dinner. Sometimes we went to the beach. Only once we went to an amusement park: Universal
Studios. We were together for twenty-nine days and then we broke-up; so no, I don't think it was
forever.
 What's my outlook on the future.
 The year 2018 will make twenty years since I graduated from high school. I think I will probably
be still living here in Sarasota. I will be quite comfortable with my living situation, meaning that I
will be married to Paul Smith. We will have one child: Linda Treasa Smith, who at that point will
be three-years-old and a little devil. Paul is a sweet guy; he will do anything for anyone. He is six
feet tall and built well. He has baby blue eyes and blond hair. We will have been together for five
years and will be happy together--this is forever.
 Conclusion
 As I said in the beginning, I was born here in Florida and I've lived here my whole life. I would like
to see more of the USA but unfortunatly, I don't have any money to leave Florida to go anywhere
right now. I hope you have enjoyed reading my life story as much as I have enjoyed writing it for
you. Try to get as much as you can out of school; you're only there for twelve years and when you
graduate, you're home free. Here's a tip for you to live or try to live by: If you think it, it can be
done.

I was born and brought up in a nuclear family in Houston, Texas. We are a family of four:
my parents, me and my younger brother. The school days offered me a lot to learn.
Subjects like science, languages and history were of special interest to me. However, the
mechanical process of learning never interested me.

Although I was good at studies throughout my academic life, sports, music, drawing, craft-
work, etc., interested me the most. I was more inclined towards understanding the
concepts rather than just memorizing them. After graduating with a major in biology, I took
up nature photography. It was a decision that changed the entire course of my life. Through
this profession, I was able to explore life in its varied forms. Also the knowledge of biology
came in handy while exploring the flora and fauna. In a sense, photography has proved to
be a catalyst in this process of change which completely transformed me.

My work as a nature photographer offers me immense satisfaction and great pleasure.

Freezing the volatile moments with my camera teaches me how to deal with tricky
situations in life. Working hard to pursue your goals and keeping a positive attitude are the
qualities that help you when you are required to maintain a level-head in times of success
and failure. These are the tools which help you overcome the toughest phases in life.

Now that I am in a position to enjoy my work, I would like to and take up new photography
projects and explore different regions of the world. I want to work hard and excel in
photography.
