Band BAND
• Woodwinds meet TODAY @ 9:15 – bring your textbooks and
instruments.
• ALL Band students meet TODAY @ 10:30
• Jazz – Open jazz jam session @ 2:15 for anyone interested in
learning to play jazz
• AUDITIONS for Jazz and Wind Ensemble are now posted on the
Band website. Access it through Brightspace.
Biology There will be a Biology 30 Lab seminar is TODAY at 10:15 Am in Room
526. Topic that will be covered: Ovaries and Menstrual Cycle Lab
Cross Cross Country Running
Country There will be a brief but important meeting for anyone wanting to run cross
Running country this year. It will be on Thursday, at 3:15 in the science resource
centre. See Mr. Davis or Mrs. Longinotti if you cannot make it.
Drama Did you take Drama 10 last year?
Drama 20/30 is a year-long course. It will not start up again second
semester.
Please come to either seminar: Thurs 1:15 - 3:15 or Fri 9:15 - 11:15.
This week is the last week you will be able to join the class.

English This Thursday marks the start of the Writer’s Café writing support in
English for students wishing to write their essays and personal responses
with immediate teacher feedback. Sign up for a spot in the Writer’s Café,
room 304. Spots are limited! There are two times in which you can write -
9:30-12:30 and 12:30-3:00. Consider how much time you might need to
craft your response when signing up. Moving forward every Thursday and
Friday will be dedicated to writers who would like to utilize this support for
their learning.
