Post harvesting handling - Okra has a short storage life.

A fresh good pod can be stored for 7-10 days at 7-10 celcius temperature and 9-90% relative humidity.
At temperature below 7 celcius okra is subjected to chilling injury, which results in surface discoloration,
pitting and decay.

Talong- Post harvest handling – storage life of most eggplant is maximized as 10-14 degrees celcius.

Chilling injury decreases quality within a few days. If temperatures fall below 5 degrees celcius. At higher
temperatures, storage life is ended by roots.
