IG1 (Part 1)

You are working in a fertilizer company as a HSE representative almost 10 to 15


visitors visit the organization on daily basis. It was observed that there are no suitable
control measures to manage these visitors. Only safety signs were placed to show the
directions and there was no segregation between pedestrian and vehicle pathways.
Three days ago a visitor get injured due to the collision with the vehicle and moved to
the hospital for a bed rest of six days. Moreover seating area for the workers working
in the production area is not in good ergonomically condition. It was informed to the
higher management many times to develop the good ergonomically conditions and
additional control measures to make the visitors and workers safe. It was observed
that due to the improper distribution of resources these necessary activities get ignore.

Keeping in view this scenario answer the following Questions

Task-1: What are moral arguments to apply control measures for workers in
production area. (10)

Task-2: In scenario what are the responsibilities of employer regarding HSE. (10)
