The importance of muscle tissue

In a period of 2 weeks, you are asked to prepare a project about

the importance of muscle tissue to human beings. This will be in

the form of a research paper.

A research paper shall have the following out-line:

a- project name b- project objectives c- tools for gathering data d-

Introduction e- Analysis (description) of data f- conclusion

Hints/tips:

Examine the following points and categorize them under their part

in the outline:

- Is it essential to know the different types of muscle tissues & their

importance? ( We need to see if this is important or not?)

- Tools for getting the information (Questionnaires & internet)

1. Are experiments applicable here?

2. To whom should questionnaires/ questions be directed?

(think about people who know about biology i.e. science

teachers, classmates, G10/G11/G12 Biology students)

3. Questions: what’s a muscle tissue? Do you know an example in

 your body? How many types of muscle tissue are there? What

will happen if there’s no muscle tissue?

4. Use the data gathered to write down your analysis of the

project as well as your conclusion.

5. Use photos or body diagrams.

Notes:

 Don’t make it very detailed (~ 3 A4 size papers or 8 slides)

 Pictures are very important for illustrations.

 Groups of 4 (smaller gp is accepted for odd number students)

 Deadline: your session in week 9 (3-7 March 2018).
