1.

Let us first define the two terms, Globalization is a process of interaction and
integration among the people, companies, and governments of different nations,
a process driven by international trade and investment and aided by information
technology. While on the other hand Internationalization is the practice of
designing products, services and internal operations to facilitate expansion into
international markets. So this basically means that in Globalization, it shows the
connection of different states and other organizations as well and the
Internationalization is the principle of cooperation or working together with
different states and actors in the International Community which will result to the
common good. Globalization is all about connecting the economy of states and
having trades globally while Internationalization tends to expand businesses and
enter different market of different states, individuals and corporations. It is like
Globalization is the outcome while Internationalization is the process or the tool
in order to achieve that.

2. State and Nation

Based on Garner the State is a community of persons more or less numerous,

permanently occupying a definite portion of territory, independent or nearly so, of
external control and possessing an organized government to which the great body of
inhabitants render habitual obedience. While a nation is defined as a large body of
people, associated with a particular territory, that is sufficiently conscious of its unity
to seek or to possess a government peculiarly its own or a territorial division
containing a body of people of one or more nationalities and usually characterized
by relatively large size and independent status based on Merriam Webster
Dictionary. Looking at their differences, a state has 4 elements; it needs to it all in
order to be called a state while in nation they are just culturally homogeneous
groups of people, who share a common goal, interest like religion language or
historical experience. Another difference is that Nation can be wider compared to
state because State is limited to fixed boundaries and territories while a nation may
or may not remain within the bounds of a territory since there are no specific location
or territory that they can be found. Another one is that there can be 2 nations in one
state. When sovereignty of a state is gone, there will be no state or in short the state
will die while the nation is still there and still exists. So in other words a Nation can
stand alone without the State.
