Emerging Technology: Everfi
Everfi is a new innovative company that provides educational technology for schools, offices
and communities. “In 2019, this leading SaaS provider of corporate HR training partnered with
LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner to launch a no-cost online curriculum called “The Compassion
Project.” The program, aimed at students in grades 2-4, teaches empathy, conflict resolution,
and resilience. It was used by more than 13,000 mostly low- to moderate-income schools in
the last two years.”-Fast Company
Social-emotional learning is very important to me as an educator, so I was looking for
something that I would use in my own preschool classroom and this program is amazing and
best of all it is free!
“Compassion is an important social-emotional skill that begins to develop in early childhood and is
essential for lifelong health and success. Learning compassion increases a student's sense of
wellbeing and improves the learning environment for all learners. By developing empathy in
children, educators lay the groundwork for long-term understanding of diversity, equity and
inclusion in the classroom and in life.”-Everfi
Emerging Technology: Everfi
The compassion project consists of 15 online lessons at approximately 30 minutes each. The
lessons achieve common core standards and lesson plans are also included. There is an

Go Guardian teacher can be used to help keep kids on task and assist them whilst using technology.
It is particularly helpful during this time of distance education, my sons teacher uses it daily with his
4th grade class. With so much change going on technology continues to be a big part of our “new
normal” and go guardian helps really helps this transition.
“Gain real-time views into student activity With devices in the classroom, you can't always see what students are doing behind their screens. GoGuardian
