USING THE CSN EDUCATION WEBSITE
1) The 3 resources that can be found on CSN Education Resources webpage are: Nevada
Pre-K Standards, CCSD Elementary Curriculum (CEF) – Grade 1, and CCSD School
Location.
Nevada Pre-K Standards takes you to a document that basically provides the framework
for curriculum and instruction in all of Nevada’s Pre-K classrooms. CCSD Elementary
Curriculum (CEF) -Grade 1 takes you to a document that gives you the content standards
of Grade 1 in CCSD. The CCSD School Location takes you to a map providing you with a
key and a detailed map to all the schools in the CCSD area.

2) The 3 guidelines I see in the Field Observation Student Information Link are: Attendance
and Punctuality, Dress Code, and Relationships.

3) The 3 resources I see to help me conduct research are: Research 101, Browse
Databases, and Find Books.

4) The Nevada Computer and Technology Standards definition is to ensure that Nevada
students are prepared for life in the digital age, students must be proficient technology
users. One standard is: effective classroom technology integration is the bridge that
invites millennial learners to be successful, engaged, classroom learners.

5) One course artifact that is listed for the Weebly Portfolio is EDU 201/202 Intro to
Elementary & Secondary Education: Field Observations

USING CCSD WEB RESOURCES

1) The 3 resources on CCSD.net website I found are: Online Registration, Infinite Campus,
and Zoning.
Online Registration takes you to a site so that you can register your child into a school
withing CCSD. Infinite Campus takes you to a site that helps you register and use Infinite
Campus, which essentially let’s you know all about your child. Or you can go as an
employee and fill info for parents and other staff members about a child. Zoning takes
you to a map that basically tells you were your child will go to school depending on
where your address is.

2) The annual salary of a 1st year teacher in CCSD is $41,863.

3) The 3 resources I see are: New Teachers, New School Counselors, and New Social
Workers.
New Teachers tells you about when you are to start work and has a new teacher flyer.
New School Counselors essentially has the same when work starts and a flyer. New
Social Worker also says the same.

4) The 3 student link resources I found are: Student Reunion Info, Safevoice, and Transcript
Requests.
Student Reunion Info takes you to a page that give you information about upcoming
reunion and where, what and time they are taking place. SafeVoice is an anonymous tip
report system with live response 24/7/365. Transcript Requests provide information about how
to obtain a transcript to transfer to a new school.

5) I think some of the best resources, as a parent myself, are the Infinite Campus and the
zoning. The Infinite Campus is crucial in communication, grades, assignments, and many
other things you need to know about your child in school. Honestly, the zoning link is
very useful because the school zoning lines are a silly mess. I needed to know where my
child was going to school before I moved to a new house.
