relaxed,although she was quite shy and withdrawn at fi rst. The subject is also
manageable, easyto talk to because she understands simple statements
and instructi ons and answers mostof the questions that the researcher asked her.
The researcher’s expectation in conducting this case study is to be able to gainmore knowledge
about schizophrenia, its underlying causative factors, predisposing and precipitating factors, its
development and corresponding treatment and approaches. Mostimportantly, the researcher
wants to know how to manage and provide nursing care for individuals with socially ineffective
behavioral patterns, particularly schizophrenia, andto impart this significant learning to others.

06, 2018 with a chief complaint of “ganahan nako mamatay, wala nay pulos ako
kinabuhi.Ganahan ko mag donate sa ako organs para mamatay na ko” as verbalized
by the pt. and with admitting diagnosis of Schizophrenia. I choose this case because
he is responsive; he seems calm and relaxed, althou gh he was quite shy
and withdrawn at first. The patient is also manageable, easy to talk to because he
understands simple statements and instructions and answers most of the questions that
the researcher asked him.
