Community Support Program - BUKC

Community Support Program (C.S.P) is an official, compulsory 40 hour, non-credit course opted
by the students of Bahria University, Karachi Campus to render their services and support to
different social sectors in Pakistan. The aim of this program is to strengthen local communities,
increase participation of our students in the community thereby instilling them with a sense of
responsibility and care for humanity. CSP team aims to organize several workshops, seminars
and aid programs where the haves voluntarily come forward to help the have-nots.
In my opinion this is the best platform to meet and serve those people who need us most. CSP's
only motive is to keep yourself down to earth. By meeting the people, children we analyze that
Alhamdulillah we are truly blessed to have all the naimats while many have only desires of it.

Activity

In this pandemic many people are suffering especially daily wagers, we contributed amount for
giving away food boxes for the people who need them. This is the time when we should look
upon people around us and keep an eye on unprivileged ones. These food items were given away
to needy ones. We collected amount of around 3-4000. Half of the amount given to the restaurant
who gives free food to needy ones and with remaining amount we bought 40 sets of 1 time meal
which includes Daal, Roti and achaar.

My Experience
Overall experience was best and peaceful. Our first priority for doing this activity is ajar and to
realize the pain of people who don’t have resources to get one time meal.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Feed the hungry, visit the sick and set
free the captives." - Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 7, Hadith 552
