 Understand what are the safety precautions to follow in order to avoid any injury in
the computer laboratory

Most students were not aware that there were safety precautions that need to be
considered when working in a computer room and they have shown interest in
learning those despite not being able to recall them using proper English sentences.

Remarks Most ideas written on the whiteboard were correct and I had to correct only some
minor grammatical errors were corrected

The metaphor used to explain the guidelines was effective and students have been
able to link the concept of staying in good health with proper care of computer
equipments
Evaluation
Objectives set for this session were met the two subtopics explained were related as
safety precautions works in line with proper care of computer equipments.

The summary session took longer than the planned time and then bell rang before a
proper summary was done

The formative assessments from the books were simple and straightforward and most
 students were able to complete the work given.

I wanted my students to realize that there are at some risks if they do not use
computer laboratory equipments properly , some of them ,such as electric shocks,
being life threatening .

The safety precautions as well as the guidelines for proper maintenance of

workbook helped in understanding the concepts.

Time allocated for summary should be revised as time for allocated for this activity
was not sufficient
