Why is Leak Detection an Issue?


Safety is the number one concern of most companies involved in the (petro)chemical industry and protecting the
environment is a close second. The regulatory framework in both areas is getting progressively tighter. It is therefore critical
to makes sure that leaks of potentially dangerous and/or harmful substances can be detected at an earliest stage. This will
allow to prevent situations that may lead to tank/equipment damage, environmental risks and compromised personnel
safety.
