diet, and more, you will be assigned a dinosaur
project!
● This project will be worth 100 points, so work
efficiently.

Step #1
Choose 1 dinosaur from the following list: (first come first serve)

● Tyrannosaurus Rex ● Diplodocus

● Stegosaurus ● Ankylosaurus
● Triceratops ● Brachiosaurus

Step #2
Write a one page essay about the dinosaur. Including:
● History of the dinosaur
● Diet of the dinosaur
● The dinosaurs environment
● The dinosaurs life timeline

★ Use this video for extra help!

 Step #3
Create a painting or a sculpture of the dinosaur
● You can use markers, colored pencils, or crayons
● If it is going to be on paper, it must be drawn on
construction paper
● If you are making a sculpture, you can use clay, papier
mache, etc.
● Do NOT submit any action figures or toys as final project

Extra Credit!
● If you are super proud of your essay and sculpture\drawing submit your
work into a competition!
● All of the 3rd grade teachers will compare your work and choose the top 3
of all of the submitted projects!
● If you get 3rd place, you will get 5 extra credit points
● If you get 2nd place, you will get 10 extra credit points
● If you get 1st place, you will get 15 extra credit points
