Parent Conferences Week if HERE: Parents, last week you received a link to “Sign-Up Genius” an on-line sign up schedule
for your student’s teacher conference. Parent-Teacher conferences run through this week, and your child’s district email (the
part before @) is your meeting code for your teacher. Remember…NO SCHOOL FOR ELEMENTARY STUDENTS ON
WEDNESDAY THE 14TH. Students are welcome to join the conferences with you!

Cyber Cox Cub of the Week: Congratulations to the following students for being an awesome Cyber Cox Cub
Student last week in grades 1, 3, and 5: Keeler Donnelly, Hillier Donnelly, Christopher Karsaz,
Melissa Avelar-Avila, Maria Breazeal, Rocco Courtney, Elayna Unger, Crew Larking, Lily Larkin, Amanda Ola,
Gunner Beranek, and Bella Denman.
Parents can pick up their certificates in the front office until Friday. All certificates left over after the week will be placed in their teacher’s classroom
mailbox.

SOT Meeting Moved to Tuesday, October 20th at 5 pm. Virtual Code is DCoxSOT on Google Meets

Milers: Great job to the following students for putting in their miles last week: Carl LoBue and Ryan LoBue finished
both their 50 miles!!! Roman Pandullo finished his 30 and 40 miles card!!! Celina McCoy-Rasmus is up to 11 miles
now! Keep walking and jogging Cox Cubs!
Parents send me the names of your students and their miles completed so I can celebrate them in our newsletter!

A Look Ahead:

Oct. 12-16 Elementary Parent Conferences Each teacher is going to be
Oct. 14 No school for elementary students giving classes a “performance task”
Oct. 20 SOT Mtg. 5 pm/PTA Mtg. 6 pm based on the end-of-year standards
Oct. 29 Spirit Dress Day: Costumes for their grade level. These tasks
Oct. 30 No School, Nevada Day are meant to be completed without
Nov. 01 Fall Back an Hour: Daylight Saving Ends ANY parent help, are not graded in
Nov. 06 Progress Reports on IC IC, and are meant to be extremely
Nov. 03 No School-election day challenging for the students.
Nov. 11 No School-Veteran’s Day Teachers expect students to not be
Nov. 13 Spirit Dress Day: school shirts or yellow/blue clothing
