Quizlet:​ Quizlet is a free educational resource designed to help students study


information more efficiently. Quizlet can be accessed through the website, or it can be
downloaded as an application on mobile devices. Additionally, students in the Clark
County School District can sign into Quizlet using their Google account. This will allow
for their study sets to automatically save and be accessed at another time. Quizlet
allows students to create completely customizable study sets. This means that students
have the freedom to add any words, pictures, or videos to their virtual flashcards.
Quizlet is also equipped with games and other means of active studying in order to
accommodate various different learning styles and study sessions.

Kahoot!: ​Kahoot! is a resource in which teachers or students can create interactive


learning games. A typical game of Kahoot! is displayed on a SmartBoard or other
classroom projector. Students are then able to use a “game pin” to join the round using
a computer or smartphone. Then, students can create a nickname and interact with the
game by reading the question and answering the questions, using their phone or other
device as the responder. Kahoot! is a great way to incorporate technology into a review
activity.

Khan Academy:​ ​Khan Academy is a free educational resource that students of all
ages can use for nearly any subject. Khan Academy uses in-depth videos to explain
concepts and questions are presented throughout the lesson to track students’
progress. Students are able to customize their study paths by selecting the courses they
are enrolled in, or even courses that they are interested in. For example, Khan
Academy has access to content for AP US History, AP Statistics, Pre-Calculus, and
even SAT and ACT practice courses. Students can select various concepts that they
need extra practice with as well, such as the Revolution, in history, or Rates and Ratios,
in math.

No Red Ink: ​No Red Ink is an educational resource in which students can practice
their language and grammar skills. Teachers are able to assign quizzes or study
sessions directly in No Red Ink, which students can access from their Launchpad. No
Red Ink also allows students to select movies, bands, or TV shows that they are
interested in. With that information, No Red Ink uses characters, actors, or musicians
from those movies, shows, etc. in the practice sentences. Additionally, No Red Ink
allows students to test out of certain study sessions or topics. For example, if a student
is assigned 3 lessons on active and passive voice, the student can either complete the
practice or take a test to see if they can test out of the lesson.

Teachnology: ​Teachnology is an online resource for teachers to find lesson plans,


worksheets, rubrics, and other activities teachers can use in their classrooms. For
example, there is an abundance of worksheets available for a variety of different topics,
such as math, research skills, and critical thinking. Teachnology also has access to

Lastly, Teachnology is a very organized website, allowing teachers to find exactly what
