LOCATION OF THE CAR ALARM CENTRAL UNIT


Compact central units and sirens: under the bonnet on passenger’s side in front of lights assembly.
Modular central units and accessories: underneath the dashboard on driver’s side.

CAR ALARM SUPPLY
Positive: Connect to the red wire in position n° 60 in the fuse box (insert the contacts with 7.5A fuse).
Negative: Connect up to the original layout.

ENGINE IMMOBILISATION
The vehicle is supplied with an original transponder engine immobiliser that arms automatically by removing the
ignition key from the ignition switch.

POISITIVE IGNITION KEY (+15)
Connect to the BLACK wire (position n° 12) in the BROWN 18 pin connector marked XS4 in the BSG central unit located in
the heel rest on driver’s side next to the pedals.

CENTRAL DOORS LOCKING (Connection of remote controlled alarm central unit)
Negative type control.
Connect to the BLUE/YELLOW wire (position n° 5) in the WHITE/PURPLE 6 pin connector located at the exit point of the
driver’s door; connect the wires of the alarm for opening (with connection of a 180 ohm resistor in series) and closing directly
to the wire indicated without any cutting.

ENABLING PASSIVE ARMING (Connection of alarm central unit armed by the original remote control of the car)
Follow the installation instructions in ANNEXE 36.7.1 (M750/8)

TURNING INDICATORS
Connect to the BLACK/WHITE wire (position n° 16) and BLACK/GREEN wire (position n° 14) in the BLACK 16 pin
connector of the BSG central unit.

DOORS PROTECTION
Connect to the BLACK wire (position n° 6), the PURPLE/WHITE wire (position n° 4), the BLACK/GREY wire (position n°
13), the BLACK/GREEN wire (position n° 3) in the BROWN 18 pin connector marked XS4 of the BSG central unit.
N.B. INSTALL A DIODE ON EACH WIRE FOR DOOR PROTECTION
Black
Purple/White
Black/Grey
Black/Green

BONNET/BOOT PROTECTION
Bonnet: install the switch provided.
Boot: connect to the BROWN/BLUE wire (position n°4) in the red 6 pin connector marked XS5 of the BSG central unit.
N.B. INSTALL A DIODE ON THE WIRE FOR BOOT PROTECTION

ELECTRIC WINDOWS
The windows are closed using the comfort command by lengthening the timing for the closure of the alarm to 25 sec
The M162 module must be used with alarm model M750/8.

METHOD OF INSTALLATION FOR M750/8 Electronic key

NB: the door switches, the boot and the status of windows are normally detected
by the CAN line

WARNING: when the installation is complete, set the alarm central unit for reading the vehicle’s original
CAN-BUS.
This setting is made by turning the vehicle’s ignition key to the “KEY ON” position and keeping it there
for 20 seconds.
After 20 seconds turn the key back to the “KEY OFF” position and complete the final check.
NB: should the alarm central unit be disconnected from the battery or the connector (e.g. accessory
functions of M750), this procedure must be repeated.
