Abortion must be legalized for everyone:

a. Example: What about what is happening nowadays? Women can not get to choose whether they want to
keep the baby or not, even if it is inside of their bodies, restricting their right to choose, their right to liberty,
their right to freedom, their right to privacy, their right to even live happily, causing what ? Causing them
an unhappy life, a higher risk to get sick, to commit suicide or to even die.

Then we can say that illegalizing abortion is limiting their fundamental human rights and thus
is a form of discrimination towards women denying medical care to people in need

b. Example: In 2017, rape rate in Bahamas was 975.7 cases per 100,000 population and the top 5 countries
also includes Belgium, New Zealand, Grenada, and Morocco. Moreover, according to Rape, Abuse & Incest
National Networking, in the US every 73 seconds an American is sexually assaulted and every 8 minutes the
victim is a child. So how can we tell women or child going through trauma that they must keep the baby
when they are dealing with trauma? How can women not commit suicide? And what about women’s lives
that are in sake because the baby would harm them and kill them? So these victims are not only abused
sexually and hurt but even their right to choose whether to keep the baby is taken from them. How can we
even be so inhuman, so cruel?

Abortion is also an essential health care, not only physically but also mentally

c. Example: Imagine a baby who was abandoned because he was not wanted, not predicted. Imagine what
this baby will grow to be. He is more likely to feel abandoned, to suffer mentally, to use drugs and even
become a criminal if he is not saved by a wealthy family and left to his own sake, right? Let’s even imagine
if he wasn’t abandoned but anyway he was not wanted. What will be causing here? Child abuse. And is this
why abortion is not legal? Really?

Right to choose abortion or not must remain a free choice up to the one’s carrying it

d. Example: 25million unsafe abortion take place every year causing death and injuries

Criminalizing abortion is not helping preventing it anyhow but rather making it less safe for
women

Counterargument:

Abortion is murder:

Law defines a human being as an individual and as a member of the humankind. The embryo
is considered a "future human being" or "potential human being". The beginning of life does
therefore legally start only at birth. Then we can say that since the fetus is not considered as a
human being, yet, abortion is therefore not murder under the Law.
And this can be cruel as it means even a formed baby about to come to real life can be killed,
and which is why we think abortion must be limited to the first 11weeks only before the
human body is formed.
