Education gives one power

What all can education do? Most importantly, Education gives you power. It trains the
mind, sharpens skills and abilities. Education defines you, it’s who you are, your stand on
different issues and your place in the world. It provides you with a stable future and is a
source of income. It teaches you to be responsible and independent. Education gives you
the power to think, to be able to change and improve yourself. Education removes
superstitions and social ills. It’s a journey from insanity to sanity, from dark to light, from
ignorance to knowledge.

Education believes in no boundaries, in no castes, in no religions, in no gender. Education is

what gave women their freedom. It brought justice to the poor and deprived. It brought
courage to the needy. It gave forced labourers, regardless of age, a new life. It sparked hope
into the hearts of those left behind in the ravages of war. It brought about love and
understanding between those deeply drowned in hatred. It led to order, peace, prosperity
and lastly it gave power to those who wielded it.

Therefore it is, and always will be a vital, valued part of life.
