and 1 degenerate case (lines, point, intersecting lines) found in Marikina City.
Include a brief explanation on how your chosen examples are associated with its
corresponding conics.

Ellipse Circle Parabola

This is a ride called “Vortex” in
Riverbanks Centre Marikina, it
showcases an ellipse because the
spiral shows a curved line forming
a closed loop.
This is called “Marikina Art” seen
everywhere on random walls in
Marikina, they are usually circling.
This is a ride called “Sea Dragon”
in Riverbanks Centre Marikina, it
showcases a parabola because it
forms a plane curve that is
approximately U-shaped.

Hyperbola
I can say that this lamp in our house forms
a hyperbola from its light reflecting on the
walls since it shows two pieces that are
mirror images of each other and resemble
two infinite bows.
Line
The power line or cable here in McDonalds – Marikina Sports
Center represents a line since it is a geometrical object that is
straight, infinitely long and infinitely thin.
