RAFI Micro-finance, Inc. (RAFI MFI) is a program of the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI) that is engaged in
providing micro-finance services to micro-entrepreneurs. We are currently operating in the Visayas Region, some parts
of the Bicol Region and Misamis Oriental, and are serving more than 300,000 households.

The practice of good hygiene and sanitation is identified as one of the key preventive measures against COVID-19.
With the rising number of COVID-19 cases and a struggling health care system nationwide, it is just right that health
awareness activities be conducted especially among the marginalized and vulnerable sector. With this and as part of
our client retention and engagement initiatives, we at RAFI MFI, would like to implement the Hunaw Campaign and
Nanay Rosas WASH-IWAS COVID for Kids on October 03, 2020, within the selected 11 Barangays of Baybay.

This Hunaw campaign was first conducted by our mother organization, RAFI, in some barangays of Cebu City. Now,
we would like to expand this campaign across other areas of operation of RAFI Micro-finance and Baybay is one of the
few chosen municipalities.

The Hunaw campaign aims to enable the community to gain more knowledge on the importance of Water Sanitation
and Hygiene especially at this time of a global health pandemic wherein good hygiene practices are identified as one
of the preventive measures to protect individuals from the COVID-19 virus.

The Hunaw Campaign and Nanay Rosa’s WASH-IWAS COVID for Kids shall be done through a ricorida truck that
shall travel across the selected within Baybay as scheduled. The ricorida truck shall stay for a maximum of 20 minutes
per barangay while doing the ff activities:
 Hunaw Campaign:
o Play audio recordings, distribute comics, flyers, and hygiene essentials for adults.

 Conduct the Nanay Rosa’s WASH-IWAS COVID for Kids through the distribution of WASH-IWAS Kits to
selected clients of RAFI MFI with kids ages 5-10 years old
o The Kits shall contain the following:
 100ml alcohol
 50g soap
 Face mask
 Face shield
 Water bottle
 Philippine Red Cross Classic Insurance

During this event, we assure that all safety protocols are practiced such as the wearing of masks, regular hand
sanitation and maintaining social distancing.
