Rate (1-10) Explanation
I gave the originality a rating of 5 because
the kind of story is no longer new to me.
Though there are some plot twists on the
ORIGINALITY 5 story, I somehow predicted how the story
would end that’s why it no longer hyped me
up.
The setting is quite vague at first but I can
say that it developed as the story goes by.
SETTING 7 The setting somehow is successful in
matching the tone of the scenes.
The characters are well drawn in the story.
They are realistic and convincing in a way
that it can let the reader realize that that
CHARACTERIZATION 8 kind of persons or characters can also be
seen and observed in real life. We can relate
to them and we can feel what they feel by
how the author presented them.
Though the conflict is no longer new, I can
say that it still surprised me and caught my
attention and it excites me. The way how
CONFLICT AND PLOT 9 the author presented the plot is like me
watching a movie with a lot of twist and
turns but the resolution was told clearly.
The author was able to develop proper
emotions as I read the story. There are a lot
of emotions that you can feel throughout
EMOTIONAL/INTELLECTUA
L PAYOFF
8 the reading of the text and I can say that the
author was successful in letting the reader
relate to the situation and feel what the
characters felt.
The theme provided a profound insight to
the reader. Since the theme is more likely
THEME 10 about family and reconciliation, I can say
that it targeted all the audience and it can
leave the readers astounded.
The story was well written and can leave a
good impression to the readers. What I just
struggled with is that some words on the
copy that I have had some typographical
error which makes the text quite difficult to
TREATMENT 9 understand. But overall, I can say that the
author did not clutter on the idea and flow
of the story, and the message was well
conveyed. Also, the techniques the he used
in writing are impressive.
