2.1. Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA)

DIRECTIONS Head west on Lebuhraya KLIA


Extension/ E6 and follow signs for Jalan
Pekeliling. Take the Jalan Pekeliling exit.
Continue on Route 29 to Putrajaya. Exit from
Lingkaran Putrajaya/ E6. Continue on Lebuh
Sentosa. Take Lebuh Wawasan to Jalan P2a in
Persint 2 and follow hotel signs.

Distance from Hotel: 36 km.

2.2. From Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA)

Train

KLIA Ekspres trains connect the airport to the

city center and takes only 28 minutes. The train
service from the airport terminates at the KL
City Air Terminal in KL Sentral and runs every
15 minutes during peak hours (Mon-Fri 6am-
9am, 4pm-10pm), 20 minutes at off peak hours
and every 30 minutes after midnight.

Limousines, Taxi and Grab Car

Limousines and taxis can be arranged either from the


Zenith Putrajaya hotel or at the airport to make the 36
kilometers journey. Upon request a hotel airport
representative will be on hand to direct you to the
awaiting limousine or taxi.

3. PLACES OF INTEREST

Putrajaya is Malaysia's third and latest Federal Territory. Built on an


expansive marshland and former oil palm estate in Selangor, the city
spans an area of almost 5,000 hectares and lies 25 km from Kuala
Lumpur. Putrajaya takes over the administrative functions of the capital
city Kuala Lumpur and is part of the Multimedia Super Corridor project
of the Malaysian government.

There are several places that visitors can explore in Putrajaya. To


discover the most unique and interesting way to see Putrajaya, visitors
are recommended to take on a cruise at the Putrajaya Lake. Visitors
who wish to view amazing architectures are suggested to visit the
Perdana Putra, the Seri Wawasan Bridge, the Iron Mosque and the
Putra Mosque.

It is also recommended for visitors to visit the Taman Botani Putrajaya


and the Agriculture Heritage Park Putrajaya. As the wetlands are one
of the most unique features of Putrajaya, its a must for tourists to take
home some wetlands handicraft products. Variety of gifts ranging from
key-chains to t-shirts can be found at the Taman Wetland souvenir
outlet and a gift shop located at the souq

3.1. Getting Around Putrajaya

The most comprehensive transportation mode in


Putrajaya is via the Nadi Putra bus. The bus services
visitors from 6.30am till 1.00am on a frequency of
every 15-30 minutes. Alternately, private transfer and
taxi service offers hassle free way of getting around
in Putrajaya.
