Procedures
Before inventory of all chemicals following points need to be considered:
(I) Engage a responsible person to conduct chemical inventory who has training on chemical inventory
(II) Ensure product comply with brands/ buyers quality requirement (brands MRSL)
(III) Accepted standards for chemical preparations under the LIDL PURE
Bluesign approved chemical product
GOTS positive listed product
Eco Passport (unlimited certification)
Greenscreen certified
ZDHC MRSL declaration (pre-condition: Bluesign system partner)
Lidl MRSL (pre-condition: Bluesign system partner)
REACH certified product
(IV) Proper delivery & technical support of the product by the supplier
(V) Ensure responsible person have clear understanding/ training on chemical inventorising
(VI) Provide product name, Chemical supplier name, and manufacturer name
(VII) Identify date of production, purchase date and chemical expiry date
(VIII) To ensure suppliers/ manufacturers provides standard MSDS/SDS according to one of the following method :
-ANSI-2400.1-2004
-ISO 11014-1
-EC 1907 / 2006 (Reach)
-EC 2001 / 58
-GHS (Global Harmonized system)
-JIS Z7253-2012
(IX) SDS should mention CAS No, Hazard pictogram according to GHS, Hazard Statements (Hazard phase
Physical: H200…….., Health: H300………, and Environmental: H400…….), EC No, / C.I No,
(X) Provide SDS/ chemical handling instructions in local language and stored in all storage areas
(XI) As per requirements listed product should be comply ZDHC i.e., ZDHC declaration certificate, Blusign
approved chemical product, GOTS positive listed product, Echot Passport certified product, Oekotex standard-
100 appendix VI certified product
(XII) Product should be comply with brands RSL/ MRSL (example: LIDL –RSL / MRSL as per LIDL guideline
version-2)
(XIII) Ensure all chemicals using in the factory are incorporated into the inventory
