The Essence of Life

by Harl Jacob Racho

We are waiting for another day,

But the day never looks back,
As we look the other way,
We only see nothing but black,
For that day is starting today.

Life is filled with unseen mysteries,

As we don’t see the end,
For we are full of miseries,
That allows each one to pretend,
Yet, we still made our histories.

Life is filled with tough decisions,

That puzzles us with opposing contradictories,
That allows us to open visions,
We desire to claim our victories,
Until we reach every hard collisions.

If he meets problems in life

Then he must to trust his beliefs,
He must know what his purpose in life,
If he meets anger with grief,
Be the light in the strife.
Even the tiniest dime,
Can’t afford ones happiness,
Be willing to surrender ones time,
To mend the bond being torn apart,
For buying ones happiness is a crime.

When he hears what he truly spoken,

Then he has finally open his heart,
To mend the doings that were broken,
For the memories will never be apart,
And so be your precious token.

Life is good, and Time is doing,

And our happiness is not a dream,
To achieve our dreams by pursuing,
Yet, they are not what they seem,
Until it portrays a pleasant viewing.

Let us then find a simple way,

With everyone’s fate being bestowed,
To wake up on another day,
With new priorities on the road,
And our happiness will never go away.
