The Big Five Personality Traits are:

1. Conscientiousness
- describes a person’s ability to regulate their impulse control in order to engage in goal-
directed behaviors (Grohol, 2019). It measures elements such as control, inhibition, and
persistency of behavior.

2. Agreeableness
- Agreeableness refers to how people tend to treat relationships with others. Unlike
extraversion which consists of the pursuit of relationships, agreeableness focuses on
people’s orientation and interactions with others (Ackerman, 2017).

3. Neuroticism
- Neuroticism describes the overall emotional stability of an individual through how they
perceive the world. It takes into account how likely a person is to interpret events as
threatening or difficult.

4. Openness to Experience
- Openness to experience refers to one’s willingness to try new things as well as engage in
imaginative and intellectual activities. It includes the ability to “think outside of the box.”

5. Extraversion
- Extraversion reflects the tendency and intensity to which someone seeks interaction with
their environment, particularly socially. It encompasses the comfort and assertiveness levels
of people in social situations.

The traits which I can resemble myself is more on Agreeableness and Extraversion.

I like keeping relationships and interacting with others. When faced with people, I am not aloof because
I am always willing to interact, be friendly and make new friends. Trust for me is a big deal that’s why I
trust people as much as I can. I am a forgiving person; I don’t like holding grudges – I am giving
forgiveness whether they asked for it or not. Moreover, I have an altruistic attitude, I enjoy helping
others whenever I can without expecting anything in return.

I love interacting with environment as much as interacting with people. I am outgoing, I like going places
and going on adventure. I am interested in doing things that I haven’t experience yet. I am open to try
new things and experiences because I like meeting new people and I think it exposes myself to new
ideas, increases my overall satisfaction and it helps mem grow as a person.
