A Virgin Islander that deserves recognition and hasn't received his fair share is my RA, George Maillard.

George is a junior at UVI, a noble product of the United States Army and a very talented musician.
George loves music and has been practicing since he was a child, he currently is mastered in the guitar
and playing the piano. My room is right next to his and that's how I discovered his natural talent,
although people would say he is very talented. It was different when I first heard his music, it spoke to
me I remember this because it was the first night I was here at UVI. The room was so hot that I couldn't
fall asleep so as I laid there I heard the glorious melody of George's guitar, it was almost if it were a
lullaby not too loud and not too low that you can't hear it but just right and the tune was so peaceful
that I forgot how hot I was feeling. It was there that I realized that his music wasn't just a talent but a
gift.

I would use a song George personally wrote himself to express his values and life attached to
autobiography about George so everyone can listen to his music and experience what I did the first night
I got to the Virgin Islands then I would post it on various social media accounts so it can travel the world
in seconds.

My RA, George Maillard, is a Virgin Islander who I think deserves recognition and has not obtained his
fair share. George is a UVI junior, a noble U.S. Army product, a member of YGT (Young,Gifted and
Talented) the band and a highly skilled musician. George enjoys music and has practiced since he was a
kid, he is presently mastered in guitar playing and piano playing. My room is right next to him, and that's
how I found out about his natural talent, although individuals would say he's very talented. When I first
heard his music, it was distinct, it spoke to me. I remember because it was the first night I was here at
UVI. The room was so hot that I couldn't sleep suddenly as I lay there I heard George's glorious guitar
melody, it was almost if it was a lullaby that wasn't too loud and not too low that you couldn't hear it,
but just right and the tune was so peaceful that I forgot how hot and sweaty I felt. I discovered there
that his music was not merely a talent, but a gift.

I'd use a song that George himself wrote to convey his beliefs and life connected to George's
autobiography so that everyone could listen to his music and experience what I did the first night I got to
the Virgin Islands and then post it on multiple social media accounts so that it could travel the globe in
seconds.
