Learning through industrial visit at Madhav Agro Foods Pvt Ltd.

Madhav Agro Foods Pvt. Is an agricultural processing and exporting industry based in
Vadodara, Gujarat. Founded in 1983, the company is located in the green belt of Padra
district near Vadodara, where fresh fruits and vegetables are abundant. The company
manufactures pickles, cooking, curry pastries, sauces, etc. and exports them to the United
States of America, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom and other European countries
under various private labels. Their goal is to make homemade pickles, pastes and sauces
available to the Indian community around the world. The traditional art of making pickles has
been transformed into a modern scientific process, where manufacturing is automated, which
reduces human interaction and product handling. The motto is to serve customers with
manufacturing practices that recognize the importance of safety, hygiene, quality, and timely
delivery, as well as flavor and taste.
Working with a scientific approach helped the company achieve organic growth, enabling it
to withstand the challenge and change from diversified trends and appear victorious and
successful. The team has come a long way after they started working in a single room with
minimal resources. Now it owns a group that includes more than several gourmet products
and recipes, with a large share in exporting Gujarati and Indian pickles, along with other
products. Proven experience in the food sector has enabled the company to expand into new
products such as natural juices, sauces, ready-to-eat products, etc.
The company achieved ISO 9000 and HACCP certification. It is currently an ISO 22000 unit,
has been inspected many times by the US Food and Drug Administration, and has been
approved by the Environmental Impact Assessment and Good Manufacturing Practices
(GMP) implementation in all of its operations as a trusted and trusted business operator.
The founder and promoter of the company, Chandresh Shah, is a food technologist and is
credited with participating in and setting up various small, medium and large food processing
projects in the Vadodara area directly or indirectly. He is active in food and agricultural
processing and is associated with academics, industry and policy-making. The company
wants rise in capacity coupled with high standards of manufacturing and excellence in
logistics, networking and delivery systems.
Also in the future, with proven knowledge, skills and experience, the company aims to lead
the Indian processed food industry with a diversified portfolio of high quality food products,
in the branded FMCG retail sector, through various strategic alliances, innovations, product
development and expansion of commercial channels. They also won various awards in
quality and business excellence like customer satisfaction, sustainability etc.
They had a vision to be a globally acknowledged and well reputed manufacturer of processed
foods of high quality and reliability and a mission to produce quality food products that
