BID BULLETIN
per Pre-Bid Conference conducted last August 14, 2020/2:00pm
at BAC Conference Room, Tanza, Boac, Marinduque

Name of Project: Construction of Academic Building, SED Annex 2 Building (Build only)
1. Contractors shall strictly adhere to the DOLE requirements on Health and Safety of Workers along
with the government protocols, rules and regulations on the implementation of minimum health
requirements in relation to COVID19. The College Health Safety Protocol shall be strictly observed.
Approval from DOLE must be submitted prior to commencement of the project, it shall be
requirement on the release of mobilization fund.
2. Since the project is Build only, the Value Engineering Analysis to be submitted shall only for the
Construction Stage until Completion. The Soil Analysis will be provided by the College.
3. The Contractor shall build their temporary facility/barracks near the project site, beside the School of
Education Building.
4. Items from the demolished building (Former Library Building) shall be placed on the vacant lot
beside the construction site/School of Education Building. Its disposal shall be coordinated with the
Physical Plant and Facilities Managements Office upon clearance with the Supply and Property
Management Office and Security Services Office.
5. Photo documentation of Site Inspection must be submitted along with the Certification to be issued
by the College.
6. The Opening of Bids will be held on August 27, 2020/02:00pm at the BAC Conference Room. It
shall be held online and onsite and participants shall be limited to one representative per Bidder only.
Submission of complete bid documents may be done thru online and/or courier on or before 2:00pm
of August 27, 2020. Two (2) days prior to the date of the Opening of Bids, prospective bidders shall
inform the BAC Secretariat, whether the they will participate in person or online for logistics
purposes.
