1. Description of the item: Supply, testing, safe delivery & unloading of unused brand new Crane
Rails at CWMF, Kalpakkam as per the detailed specifications given below

NOTE:

1. Unloading of ordered crane rail at CWMF, Kalpakkam is in the scope of supplier. If

responsibility of unloading of material at Kalpakkam site cannot be taken up by the supplier,
the offer will be rejected as incomplete.
2. Commercial comparison of technically acceptable offers will be done on the basis of the total
cost for the total quantity of all the items in this tender.
3. Bid for part supply will not be considered for evaluation and rejected as incomplete offer.
4. Recycled/Used material should not be supplied.
5. Manufacturer name of the Rail should be clearly specified in the price bid and bidder should
supply the same make.
6. Bidder should quote as per the specification & size and no deviation is permitted.
7. Correlating Material Test Certificates for Chemical composition and Mechanical Properties
conforming to relevant standards should accompany the supply.
8. If the supplier couldn’t produce the correlating test certificate, the item shall be tested for
mechanical and chemical properties according to the relevant standards by taking one random
sample/lot in presence of purchaser / his representative and offer should contain the charge for
mechanical and chemical test per sample.
9. Rail should be embossed with its specification as per standard.
10. All the taxes, duties, packing, forwarding, transportation, safe delivery at CWMF, Kalpakkam site
shall be clearly mentioned in the offer.
