1. Is a economic and social system based on private


ownership of the means of production, on the
importance of capital as a generator of wealth and on
the allocation of resources through the market
mechanism.
2. Capitalism has its origins in antiquity, its development
corresponding to a European phenomenon, which
evolved in different stages, until it remained
established in the middle of the 19th century and it
emerged in Europe to replace Feudalism.
3. Being an advocate of free market ideology or being a
capitalist is being the one who owns capital goods.
4. Today capitalism is blamed for many things: poverty,
inequality, unemployment and even global warming.
This system is no longer endured, it is not endured by
the peasants, it is not endured by the workers, it is not
endured by the peoples and it is not endured by the
Earth.
5. Because capitalism has done more to improve the
material condition of humanity than any other
economic system in all recorded history. However,
capitalism is constantly condemned and accused of
being the cause of humanity's problems.
6. There is opposition to capitalism, as a resentment on
the part of the least. Rather than impute their own lack
of success, in a free system in which others like
themselves succeed, to personal failure, people blame
the nature of the system itself.
7. A capitalist system is based on private ownership of

the means of production, in addition to the creation of


goods and services with fines of profit, and a socialist
system, on the other hand, also the social or public
ownership of the means of production.
