There is a global movement occurring that focuses on development planning and

democratic evaluation of a government's effectiveness. A deeply ingrained, migratory

culture has made movements around the Philippines normal, even appropriate as a

choice or strategy for improved lives. Furthermore, the dilemma for the Philippines is by

using the possibilities that this global trend provides. Nevertheless, it varies on the

manner in which it attempts to unravel current structural obstacles to the modernization

of temporary migrant activities. There are a lot of reasons why Filipino chose to work

overseas. One economical factor is that there is a high unemployment rate in our

country. Almost all of the Filipinos have discovered a disturbing pattern. There still is

massive unemployment throughout the country, however by working hard to make

money overseas, they want to ease the strain for their families. Since the government is

unable to provide the massive portion of its population with essential necessities and

the limited socioeconomic growth rate, a large number of people’s dissatisfaction and

end up leaving. They are efficient citizens of other countries now since they do not like

where the economy has gone in our country. They therefore seem to want to consider

leaving the Philippines and embrace overseas. In a cultural aspect, it seems that

application discrimination still exists in our country. A few people do not appreciate

potential employees except when they have the correct credentials and ties. Most

people do not consider candidates unless they are physically capable. Many suitable

but not appealing to look at employees get denied because of such a prejudice.

Individuals are thus continuing to pursue opportunities abroad, in which many

employers look according to their own qualifications and capabilities. It is uncomfortable

to say this, but somehow it happens every time. But could professionals come straight
back believing that the income provided would not be enough to support the family

needs? Numerous Filipinos, who are qualified and experienced, still want to find

employment from outside Philippines even in jobs in order to ensure monetary

sustainability. Filipino young individuals are still searching for jobs abroad only if the

socio-economic factors are changed.
